I wanted to suggest a meet-up for Waterloo Village in Stanhope NJ. I have not ever been, but I have been told it is a great place to go if you are interested in abandoned buildings and places in disrepair. I went onto flicker and there are fantastic photos of decaying houses, old stone buildings, foot bridges falling apart (you get it!)
According to their web site it is temporally closed, but it does say that since it is a state park, it is open to foot traffic and parking outside the gate is permitted.
I am suggesting Sunday April 22nd at 10:00, because I think it would be more interesting to shoot before all the leaves are out on trees. Personally, I think it would be a great opportunity to those of us interested in black and white photos.
The address is
525 Waterloo Rd
Stanhope, NJ 07874

from the web site:
Waterloo Village grounds are open to the public for walking. Parking is permitted outside the gates.
Waterloo Village takes the visitor through time from a 400-year old Lenape (Delaware) Indian village to a bustling port along the once prosperous Morris Canal. This early 19th-century restored village contains a working mill complex with gristmills and sawmills, a general store, blacksmith shop and several historic houses.
