Trail Run: ran in clockwise direction - very nice trail, well maintained. Has some good elevation changes (ups & downs), generally less strenuous than Bull Mountain climbs. 2 wide creek crossings, didn't see a way to keep from getting wet, but only knee deep. Will definitely do this trail again. Makes me want to get back up there for some mtb'ing.

Two things to note about the trail: 1. Alltrails lists it as 7.6 miles, it is actually 10 - when following the Orange blazes. 2. The location of the trailhead is way off in the map on Alltrails. It is not located on Black Mountain Rd, it is off 52 on Nimblewill Church Rd - just west of Dahlonega.

Great MTB trail. In all fairness I only did half the trails because I was running out of light but enjoyed every bit of it. This is part of the Bull Mountian/Jake Mountain trail system. Get a map before you go and look out for horses and stop so you don't spook them. Despite the mess they leave behind the riders are polite and will help you if you get turned around. Park at the Jake Mountain parking area. Don't follow the signs for Bull Mountain connector unless you want to get a 20 mile ride in.

Lot of up and downs but fun down hills.
