The trail head is located in the upper parking lot to Grindstone Lake, and is very easy to find. The trail system generally loops around Grindstone Lake, and includes many miles of new trails that will open in late summer 2013. The seven mile loop begins at the parking lot trail head and follows a smooth, well maintained, single track trail around the lake. There are two excellent down hill sections, several fun switchbacks, and a very few difficult climbs

Nice easy trail but a bit boring. The lake is very low but from a fitness standpoint it's good.

The lake had work being done on it, looks as if it was drained. Very low. The hike wasn't bad, we came across 5-6 bikers and 3 hikers. Didn't like this one as much as other trails in this area.

Good for jogging and biking. Took me an hr with a dog and slower female hiker. Pretty populated with visitors.
