Paved 0.5 mile path, but don't let that fool you. It's a Hike! It's just straight up the entire time with benches each tenth of a mile. Fifteen minutes to the top of a tower with views for literally dozens of miles in every direction. Cool little hike with bathrooms and a gift shop at the bottom!

Great short hike. Was really cloudy all the way up but then it finally opened up when we got to the top! Great views and very easy to to!

Amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Be sure to try and go on a clear day otherwise there will be a lot of clouds and fog, but that still looks cool as well as it rolls up over the ridge lines.

I would go again for the view. While at the top of Clingmans Dome the clouds floated through us, it was cool! This is an urban hiking tourist experience, equipped with rocks and benches to rest on while walking up. Its paved too. There's a steep incline. Very populated, but we didn't mind because the view was great.

Easy trail. My wife and I completed it when she was 8 months pregnant. Paved the entire way. Great views at the top.

One of the most amazing views! Great drive up to the top of the mountain with lots of views. The trail up to the observation tower is steep, but luckily its paved. Lots of tourists of course, but what can you expect. Great spot to visit when your in Gattlinburg.
