This is another nice hike in Ithaca. We went up the Rim trail, then onto the Bear trail, up to Treman Lake. Then doubled back and came down the Gorge Trail. If you only have time for one trail, do the Gorge Trail, it has the best scenic (gorge/waterfalls) view. We went midweek in November and rarely encountered another hiker. There is a really nice picnic area with grills and tables up by Treman Lake. I never knew the lake or picnic area existed.

Gorgeous hike. Lots of stairs and elevation, with beautiful waterfalls along the way. The upper part of the loop was still closed early November, so you can't do the complete loop and cut off about a mile by having to back track a little at the top. Hopefully they'll have that fixed by spring.

This is my favorite park in the area. The hike is a bit challenging, but so rewarding! You climb multiple sets of stairs, and encounter many beautiful waterfalls on your way to the top. There are cute bridges for picture opportunities throughout the trail, and the whole hike looks magical, especially during fall and summer. Definitely worth the challenge!

This is a very beautiful hike. There are some steep areas but not many. The views of the gorge are stunning, especially in fall. The markings on the trees could be a bit better though. It might be easy to lose track for inexperienced hikers.

I really enjoy this trail for a quick getaway to the woods. Its a great strenuous walk that I've taken several times & I never get bored with it. Great place for peace & quiet as I rarely run into anyone else there.

Gorge trail is a must ! The top of it was closed off due to flooding when we arrived but it was still an incredible view. The terrain was okay to hike I wouldn't call it strenuous the uphill climb back can be tiresome. Most the trail is moist dirt so be prepared to dip ur shoes in some mud.

The top section of the gorge trail is closed for repair but the loop is still a nice walk...

One of my favorites; the way back through the gorge trail is worth all the stairs to get to the top of the park!!!
