This was basically a spider symposium with no elevation change and bugs engaging in aerial coitus everywhere.
The coolest part was a silk worm-infested tree.

One of my all time favorites. I use this as my constant when treating all other trails. "... it's more____or less____than Huntsville." When we can't decide where to go it's the default. A challenge w all of the obstacles, sand, roots, curves up and down hills, great for building & honing basic skills.

Great Trail!!!

The only thing that I had a problem with were the massive amounts of roots. But regardless it was AMAZING!!

Nice park, costs $5 per adult to get in. Completed the 6.8 Mile Chinquapin Trail with my wife and 6 month old daughter. It was more challenging pushing the Bob stroller over all the roots then it would have been just walking without a stroller but the Bob handled it quite well. There was many mountain-bikers who ride too fast around blind curves. Also saw a coral snake. Be alert out there!

Great trails, a lot of tree roots, turns, obstacles, ups and downs. The Rocky Raccoon race was in full throttle when I rode with 600+ runners, so I think I made more enemies than friends today.

This is one of our favorite trails. Close to home. Shaded by trees for the entire loop. We love to bring our grandchildren here. The park staff are very friendly.

This trail's rating is incorrect. Easiest 7 miles I've ever hiked. It was pretty, but I was looking for something a little more difficult.

Hot and Sunny day. Quiet for a Sunday. Enjoyed the walk. Cruised about 4 miles.

Great day hike in my own backyard. Hurry fall!

This weekend my son and I rode the outer loop and really enjoyed it except for all the runners. It was the 100 mile race and there were runners everywhere!!!
