It is a thin strip of bushland running parallel to Wanneroo Road with varied vegetation from jarrah and tuart woodlands to banksia woodlands and dryandra heathlands. It is part of the Northern Swan Coastal Plain Important Bird Area, as it is home to Short-billed Black Cockatoos outside of breeding season.
