Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park is located in the Hume region of Victoria. It was established in 2002 in order to protect the threatened species and ecosystems of its territory. Its landscape consists of bush forests, mountains (including Mt Pilot, which it was named after) and waterfalls (Woolshed Falls being the most popular one). It is also home to Aboriginal rock art and historical gold mining era relics. It is a great place to hike, ride, climb, camp and watch birds.

A beautiful hike located in the north east of Victoria between Wangaratta and Wodonga in the Shire of Indigo, near the town of Chiltern. The trail begins from the Honeyeater Picnic Area in the Chiltern - Mount Pilot National Park.
Good parking at the Cyanide Lake parking bay off Cyanide Road. A nice hike with plenty of birdsong and a few gold mine shafts. Dogs not allowed as it is in the Chiltern Forest National Park.

Woodshed Waterfall is a terrific little spot outside Beechworth, Victoria. The picturesque falls create a tranquil place to stop and take a break and there is even the option to take a dip in one of the small swimming holes fed by the cascading water.
This trail starts from the car park at the end of Woolshed Falls Road and visits a viewing platform before leading to the falls themselves. Public toilets are available near the car park.

This is a beautiful little trail within Chiltern-Mount Pilot National Park in north eastern Victoria, located not too far east from the town of Wangaratta. This out and back route begins and ends from Nieoffs Road.
The trail itself is relatively short and very easy to follow. A little creek runs alongside the track leading you up to the bottom of the falls. Enjoy this tranquil, tropical oasis!

A great walk in Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park that travels along little-used 4WD tracks. Gradually climb to the top of Mount Sugar Loaf as you follow through beautiful bushland.
Warners Track is accessed via Woolshed Road. Follow the track until you reach Davis Track which then joins Sugarloaf Track taking you to the summit. Here visitors will be met with sweeping views out across the surrounding lowlands.

The trail itself is well signposted and easy to Navigate. A good option for stretching the legs if you're heading along the freeway towards Melbourne.
