Trail reviews for Point Nepean National Park
20 July 2025: This is a beautiful trail within Point Nepean national park. There are beautiful views across to the bay and ocean beaches. The inclines are not steep, and not numerous. It is ideal for winter, since the trail is highly exposed to the sun. Toilets are available at various locations, and are modern. The tracks are mostly on roads and beaches.
Warm, sunny winter day with clear sky. We stopped at the quarantine station on the way down and walked from Gunners Cottage along the path out toward the cemetery, thereby aboiding the roadway. So much interesting history and epic photo opportunities. Caught the shuttle back from Point Nepean.
