Best trails in Kurjenrahka National Park
Kurjenrahka National Park is in Southwest Finland, near Turku. The park is the home of cranes, and in spring, you might see their mating dance. Pukkipalo is an area of old-growth forest, home to some of the most beautiful old-growth forests in the province. The park is home to a wide variety of insects, many of which are endangered or rare. You can also find flying squirrels, otters, deer, and lynx here.
Learn about the crane's life at Kurjenpesä Nature Hut, which has a camping area nearby. Three lean-to shelters are also located along the park's trails, and two rental cabins are available.
You can get to Turku by train, from where there is a local bus service to Kurjenrahka. There is also a bus service from Turku and Säkylä to Kurjenhaka.
