This park lies in the Western Ghats section of Kerala. It is surrounded by Eravikulam National park, Pampadum Shola National park, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, and Mathikettan Shola Park. Anamudi is made up of three different sholas (forests) Mannavanshola, Idavarashola, and Pullardishola. These provide some of the most stunning views and is home to a highly biodiverse fauna. Some of the species of animals found over here are the Elephants, Tigers, Nilgiri tahr, Gaur, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Grizzled Giant Squirrel, Hanuman Langur, Sloth Bear, Flying Squirrels, etc.
