Taroko National Park features the Taroko Gorge, a landmark of the park which was carved by Liwu River. This park was first called Tsugitaka-Taroko National Park due to Taiwan being apart of Japan's Empire in the past however after World War II, China took over and renamed this park to Taroko National Park.
