Loved everything about this old pilgrimage trail…. Particularly the slightly overgrown steps and sala shade rest-stops taking the traditional anti-clockwise route. Then the traverse beneath the fine cliffs before a ladder and then along the tops to the summit . The long switchback descent to bamboo led to the jungle and a relatively dry rock river cascade. It was mosquito patch of the loop so I I didn’t hang about. Overall I loved this trail and gained a lot of satisfaction from seeing so many different natural sides to the Huai Land area in Mae TaKhrai national park.
