Best trails in Cát Tiên National Park
Located south of Vietnam, Cát Tiên National Park is one of Vietnam's largest parks. In the past, this area was home to the Ma people and the Stieng people but after the park's establishment, the natives were resettled to Talai village. This park has gone through a lot. During the Vietnam War, large amounts of the park were sprayed by herbicides causing many of its inhabitants to die. One section that is not yet recovered is the bamboo forest. Cát Tiên was also made famous by the discovery of the Vietnamese Javan rhinoceros which are now protected by the VN forest rangers.
