Best trails in Berowra Valley National Park
Berowra Valley National Park is located 20km north of Sydney, New South Wales and on lands of the Guringai people. As the name suggests, it was established around Berowra Valley, which consists of woodlands, sandstones, gorges and creeks. Enjoy the panoramic views over the valley on a hike up the hills, or boat and paddle on the river. Animals you may see when in the area include Grey-headed flying fox, Kookaburra, Superb lyrebird and Swamp wallaby amongst others. A 25-kilometre stretch of the Great North Walk is located within the park.

Trail reviews for Berowra Valley National Park
The trail was in great condition, especially between Cowan Station and Berowra Valley despite the rain in the last few days. However, the Lyrebird Gully trail was muddy and slippery. I detoured and walked to Berowra Station for lunch and a quick break before heading down to Place of Winds. If you don’t want to carry food or too much water like me, Berowra Station or the Shopping Centre is a good pit stop.
Quarry Trail/Berowra Valley/Pogson Trig Trail Dural. Cross Berowra Creek. On to Rosemead Trail to Picnic Area Hornsby. Tables/seats & bins to enjoy a snack. Great track as a there and back. Mix of bush tracks, fire trail. Steps up and down. Popular track for trail runners & mountain bikers too.
