#1 - Boonoo Boonoo Falls

A short hike through Boonoo Boonoo National Park, located in far north east New South Wales. The walk begins and ends from the dedicated car parking area at the Boonoo Boonoo Falls Picnic Area. This is a great spot for a picnic before you take the relatively steep walk up to the Boonoo Boonoo Falls Lookout, and then over to the Rock Pools. Lots of great photo opportunities along the way here.

#2 - Boonoo Boonoo River Track

A lovely walk along the River Track in the Boonoo Boonoo National Park. This is a challenging day walk so make sure to leave early and give yourself plenty of time to complete the full route. Depending on the time of year and recent rain fall you should be able to find plenty of great spots to stop and enjoy a swim so don't forget your bathers.

This trail can start at various points within Boonoo Boonoo National Park. I camped so started from the camp ground. The track follows the river at times but mostly meanders through the bush. Granite boulders to explore, metal grates over creek crossings, some steep parts where walking can be slippery. You can explore the river pools & waterfalls if you like but just remember where to head back to meet the trail. Swimming is also allowed here with caution due to water colour and not being to see what’s in the water below. Trail is beautiful and a great ending at Boonoo Boonoo Lookout & waterfall. Lots of spring flowers out at the moment & camping is $24 per night including firewood. Keep a lookout for the fire flies. Loved this walk.
