Best trails in Koreelah National Park

This is an exciting track up to Wilsons Peak, the highest and most striking peak in Kooreelah National Park, southern Queensland. A challenging trail through the Koreelah National Park and Main Range National Park in south east Queensland, located along the New South Wales state border. This out and back route begins and ends from the corner of Hardcastle Road and Carneys Creek Road. Follow the rabbit proof fence and turn left at the yellow ribbons. The scramble up Wilsons Peak (1230m) is challenging and slippery when wet. Well worth the views from the top! Keep an eye out for snakes in this area.

This is a short and simple walk to the Moss Gardens Lookout in Koreelah National Park on the QLD and NSW border. There is a small amount of roadside parking on Spring Creek Road where you begin the walk. The short walking path ventures through temperate rainforest trees covered in mosses and lichens.
