Best trails in Weddin Mountains National Park

A short walk from Holy Campground to check out the two look outs taking in the amazing views from above and below the immense sandstone cliffs. This route does climb a considerable amount from the campground so make sure you've packed your water and are wearing appropriate footwear for the hike ahead.

A challenging but incredibly rewarding hike that leads you up the Basin Gully Track to the Eualdrie Lookout. The track up to the lookout is predominantly up hill with a few short pinch climbs along the way. As you make your way through this northern section of the Weddin Mountains National Park you'll come across 2 distinctive vegetation types with with the lower portion being heathland then further up you'll come across open forest with a mixture of black cypress pine and mugga...

This is a family friendly walk out to Ben Hall's Cave that leaves from Seatons Camping Area. This is a great trip to take the kids on with it only taking 500m to the cave entrance. You'll find a little climb as you're lead up to the cave but it is easy managed. There are some fantastic trails to follow in this area that are perfect to add on to this route after exploring the cave.

One of the many great walks found in the Weddin Mountains National Park that is a fairly manageable half day walk that'll have you scrambling up rocky shelfs and offers some spectacular far reaching views of the countryside to the north east. This trail is fantastic in the spring time with a full array of wildflowers on display and the area is also known for it's bird spotting. Don't forget to come prepared for little shade and bring plenty of water for you trip.

A great trail within the Weddin Mountains National Park located in central rural New South Wales. Venture into the deep gullies of Weddin Mountains National Park as you follow the Black Gin Gully river. You'll get the chance to see rock formations, cliff lines, overhangs, and caves up close, along with some small waterfalls along the way - especially after good rain in the area. Seatons Camping Area is located not too far away if you wish to camp nearby for the night.
