Best trails in Fitzroy Island National Park
Fitzroy Island National Park is located, as the name suggests, on Fitzroy Island, in Far North Queensland, about 22km away from the mainland. Its landscape consists of granite outcrops, woodlands, rainforests, mangroves and coral beaches. It is thus a great place to hike and spend some time at the beach, though keep in mind that much of the island is off-limits to visitors as it is protected by the Nature Conservation Act.
